Privacy Policy
This site collects the minimum needed to run a small software and music business. It doesn’t sell your data, and it doesn’t share it beyond the services listed below.
What’s collected
- Contact and enquiry forms — name, email, and whatever you write in the message, sent to our CRM to respond to you.
- Newsletter signups — email address and your list preferences, held until you unsubscribe.
- Purchases — handled by Moonbase, our commerce provider. Payment details never touch this site or our own servers; checkout runs on Moonbase’s domain and their privacy policy covers payment and account data there.
- Cookies — essential session and cart cookies, plus optional preferences, analytics, advertising, and embedded media. See our cookie policy for the full list and how to change your choices.
- Analytics and advertising — if you opt in, we use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) for aggregate usage statistics and Google Ads / Meta for advertising and conversion measurement. The Meta Pixel records page views and conversion events for campaign attribution when you allow marketing cookies. You can limit ad tracking in your browser, Meta account settings, or our cookie settings.
Legal bases (UK / EU visitors)
Where UK or EU data protection law applies:
- Contract — processing needed to fulfil a purchase, deliver downloads, or respond to a support request you started.
- Legitimate interests — keeping the site secure, preventing abuse, and running essential cookies (session, cart).
- Consent — analytics cookies, advertising/remarketing tags, embedded YouTube/Spotify players, and marketing emails or newsletter signups. You can withdraw consent via cookie settings or the unsubscribe link in any email.
Your choices
Every email from us includes an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. To request a copy of what we hold on you, or to have it deleted, email info@marulamusic.com — we’ll respond within a reasonable time and confirm once it’s done.

None of these resell your information; they process it on our behalf to run the site. Moonbase acts as an independent controller for payment data collected during checkout.
International transfers
Google, Meta, Moonbase, and Hostinger may process data outside your country. Where required, they rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses). Contact us if you need more detail on a specific transfer.
